What will it cost to get my website up and running? The cost depends on the complexity of the site design. For informational and professional brochure type websites we charge by the project, rather than an hourly rate. All website design packages includes premium web hosting for 12 months. No surprises, hidden fees or add-ons. You know up front exactly what your total cost will be for 12 months.

How do you determine the cost for a more complex site? We charge for the actual time that it takes to develop the website. Our current rate is $80 per hour.

I'm a small local business why should I have a website? Today's generation of buyers looks first to the internet using search engines such as Google or Yahoo instead of the Yellow Pages. They are searching for everything from neighborhood bakeries to plumbers!

Is design important? Yes, a website is an extension of the person or business that it represents. Good design is more than looking good though. It is about organizing information. Simplicity and usability is a design form in itself. Typography, colors, positioning - all that is important.

Do you have a background in design and programming? We are designers and graphic artists first and programmers second with extensive experience in graphic design for advertising and print media.

Will you register my domain name? What is the cost? Yes. The cost of the domain registration is included in the website development package. More info

I have a website that looks out of date, can you help? Yes, once we get an idea of what you're looking for, we can provide you with design and price options.

Do you maintain websites? Yes, unless special arrangements are made, our hosting package includes one hour of updates per year. More info on maintenance

Can you provide hosting for my existing website? Sorry, we only host sites that we developed. If you want a new design, we can move your site to our hosting system. The transfer is usually seamless and can be accomplished in 3 days or less.

Were your websites affected by recent hurricanes? No, our hosting provider uses servers that are housed in the Equinix Datacenter in Chicago, Illinois. The world class facility is designed to protected against power failure, fire, flooding, intrusion, and practically every other imaginable calamity.

Do you take on pro bono projects? Yes, we have six pro bono clients now. Contact us if you think your group may qualify. The following are not eligible: individuals, religious organizations, political and discriminatory groups. More info.

How long does it take to create a website? In most cases, it takes a few weeks. That process can be accelerated with rapid feedback and approvals at each step of the production process.

Once the site is built, can I change it or add to it down the road? Absolutely. Fresh material keeps visitors coming back.

Payment? We ask for 50% of the quoted price at the start of the project. The balance is due when the site goes 'live' and you are satisfied with the results. We accept all major credit cards here.
